Mironekuton is an original Japanese and 100% natural mineral powder without any additives. For Japanese shrimp breeders and planted aquarium enthusiasts, it has been indispensable for decades – especially in combination with soil substrate, as it significantly improves microbiology (bacteria, accompanying fauna). When used during the cycling phase, Mironekuton promotes the early development of important microorganisms in the filter and substrate and ensures a continuous supply through constant mineral release.

What Mironekuton Powder does for your aquarium:

• Microbiology & Biofilm: Significantly improves bacterial flora in the filter and substrate – more beneficial microorganisms, better water quality, more natural biofilm for shrimp.
• pH Stabilization: Stabilizes pH value and prevents dangerous pH drops – especially important in soft water tanks with soil substrate.
• Crystal Clear Water: Adsorbs pollutants, eliminates unpleasant odors, and ensures crystal clear water.
• Plant Growth: Supports plant growth, root formation, photosynthesis, and oxygen release.
• Hardness & GH Support: Slightly increases general hardness (gH) and supports the ion exchange capacity of the water.

Dosage & Application:

• Regular application: Every 3–4 days, a pinch (approx. 0.4g) per 10 liters of water
• As a soil additive during setup: Mix a lightly covering layer of powder between the substrate layers; after filling with water, sprinkle some additionally onto the water surface
• Remineralization (example): 50g per 10L of osmosis water yields approx. gH 4, kH 1–2, pH 7.4, conductivity 75 µS after 24–48 hours (natural product, deviations possible)
• Note: With soft starting water and high dosage, Mironekuton slightly raises pH and GH/KH – desired effect for stable water conditions.
