Ensure maximum vitality for your aquarium inhabitants while optimizing tank hygiene! This exclusive value set combines the proven SÖCHTING OXYDATOR® Mini with the innovative, magnetic holder from ShrimpPuddle.
Instead of placing the device on the substrate, the powerful magnetic system allows it to be flexibly and floatably positioned on the aquarium glass. This not only looks more modern but also ensures optimal current utilization and effectively prevents decaying spots in the substrate – especially important during the warm summer months!
1. Söchting Oxydator Mini: Continuous Oxygen
SÖCHTING OXYDATORS® generate normal and activated oxygen using a patented process with OXYDATOR Solution® (H2O2) and special catalysts. Activated oxygen breaks down toxins, improves the well-being of fish and shrimp, and, with sufficient dosage, reliably prevents putrefaction and bothersome water turbidity.
The Oxydator Mini is extremely flexible: with one catalyst, it is perfect for tanks up to 30 liters, while with two catalysts, it easily secures aquariums up to 60 liters.
- Operating Time: At approx. 25°C, one filling with one catalyst lasts about 4 weeks, with two catalysts about 2 weeks. Higher temperatures accelerate the process.
- Invisible Operation: Due to the precise drip dosing, no bubbles may be visible at times – the device still works reliably.
- CO2 Content (Initial Use): In established aquariums, the CO2 content may initially increase as activated oxygen oxidizes organic residues in the substrate to CO2. If additional CO2 is supplied, check your values and temporarily reduce the system if necessary.
2. ShrimpPuddle Magnetic Holder: Floating instead of Standing
- Protection against Foul Gases: If an Oxydator stands directly on the bottom, oxygen-deprived zones often form underneath. Floating mounting allows water to circulate freely, and dangerous foul gases have no chance.
- Free Placement in the Aquarium: Hang the Oxydator exactly where the current distributes oxygen best in the tank. It can be easily moved from the outside with a magnet.
- Wear-free without Suction Cups: No brittle suction cups that constantly fall off. The powerful magnet provides durable and secure hold for glass thicknesses up to 10 mm.
- Easy Cleaning: When siphoning detritus, you simply clean under the floating Oxydator without lifting the device or redecorating the tank. This saves time and protects your animals!
- Safe Material: Made from robust, food-grade, and absolutely aquarium-safe plastic – ideal for sensitive shrimp and fish.
