GlasGarten Liquid Protect+

Liquid Protect+ protects your animals and plants from dangerous heavy metals and other pollutants that enter the aquarium with tap water. With its powerful immediate effect, it reliably neutralizes copper, lead, zinc, chlorine, chloramine, and other pollutants immediately after addition. Liquid Protect+ by GlasGarten thus quickly and effectively ensures aquarium water suitable for animals and plants.

High copper protection for shrimp and other invertebrates
Even small amounts of heavy metals or chlorine can be harmful to aquarium animals. Copper in particular, which enters the water through copper-containing water pipes, is especially toxic to shrimp and other invertebrates and can quickly have a lethal effect. Even slightly contaminated tap water can cause creeping poisoning, which manifests itself in individual, regular deaths. For this reason, we have incorporated a high level of copper protection into Liquid Protect+, which easily and completely neutralizes the maximum permissible copper limit value of the EU Drinking Water Ordinance.

Strong against chlorine danger
Chlorine is also very harmful to aquarium inhabitants; it is used in many regions to disinfect tap water. It can suddenly occur if the water supplier has to disinfect water pipes, for example due to high germ contamination or after work on the pipe network. This often happens unexpectedly and without prior notice and can quickly turn normally harmless tap water into a danger for aquarium inhabitants. Regular use of GlasGarten Liquid Protect+ with every water change protects against such unpleasant surprises, as it reliably removes chlorine even at high levels.

Nourishing ingredients for fish and shrimp
As extended protection and for care, Liquid Protect+ contains care agents (Care Formula) that protect the mucous membrane, fins, and gills of fish, and support the molting and regeneration of shrimp.

High yield saves resources and packaging
Due to the concentration of active ingredients, Liquid Protect+ offers a high yield, and you can treat a lot of tap water with little effort, which saves resources and packaging.

Our tip
To ensure your aquarium animals feel as comfortable as possible and stay healthy, we recommend our GlasGarten Liquid Humin+ after using GlasGarten Liquid Protect+. This combination is perfect for safe, clean, and biotope-appropriate aquarium water. After the water has been cleaned by Liquid Protect+, Liquid Humin+ prepares it in a biotope-appropriate manner. Humic substances are among the most important ingredients in aquarium water, but they are usually absent in tap water, so they must be added. A small dosage of humic substances after each water change is ideal.

Application
For new setups: Dose for the entire volume of water in the aquarium
For partial water changes: Dose only for the changed volume of water

Dosage
10 ml per 80 liters of tap water or
20 drops per 10 liters of tap water

Water change with a hose from the tap
If tap water is filled directly into the aquarium with a hose from the tap, add Liquid Protect+ at the inlet point to the aquarium immediately before adding the water.

Water change with a bucket
If water is changed with a bucket, add the appropriate dosage of Liquid Protect+ (depending on the bucket size) to the bucket and then fill it with tap water.

Yields
100 ml is sufficient for 800 liters of tap water (with dropper insert/dropper dosage)
250 ml is sufficient for 2,000 liters of tap water (with dropper insert/dropper dosage)
1000 ml is sufficient for 8,000 liters of tap water (with dropper insert/dropper dosage and incl. measuring cup in ml)
