The Aquael Pat Mini is an absolute classic in nano aquaristics and shrimp breeding. However, since it is usually operated only with a pure sponge cartridge as standard, a huge biological potential remains untapped. With the new SP Bio Filter Box, you can make your existing internal filter even better in no time! Easily extend the Pat Mini with a highly effective chamber for high-performance biological filter media and ensure crystal-clear water and a stable biological balance.

• Drastically increased biological filtration performance:* Provide useful, pollutant-reducing filter bacteria with optimal colonization space. The box can be filled with high-quality biological filter media (such as sintered glass rings, mini ceramic media, etc.) according to your wishes.
• Ingeniously simple plug-in system: No screwing, no gluing. After filling, the box is simply closed with the lid and fitted precisely between the filter sponge and the pump head of the Pat Mini.

⚠️ Important application & safety notes:

Observe filling quantity: Please fill the box only to approx. 80-90% with filter material. Many porous media can swell slightly or become clogged over time under permanent water influence. Overfilling carries the risk of the box being damaged under the resulting pressure.

Tool for cleaning: To open the clip holder on one side for deep cleaning, gently press the tab with tweezers or a flat screwdriver. Never use a knife or sharp objects for this purpose to avoid injuries and damage to the material!
