Give your underwater landscape a mystical and absolutely natural character: The SP-Buddhanuss is a beautiful, completely natural hideout for your aquarium inhabitants. This striking fruit capsule comes from the Indian to Thai region, where it grows on stately trees. With its naturally beautiful, earthy color and its fascinating, irregular shape, which resembles a natural cave when opened, it fits perfectly into any sophisticated aquascape.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Shelter for large & small inhabitants: Thanks to its spacious opening, the Buddhanuss offers excellent, protected shelter. It is the ideal retreat for shrimp, dwarf crabs, and smaller catfish species to relax stress-free or molt.
• Excellent humic substance source: The robust shell releases valuable humic substances into the water over a very long period. These are proven to support the vitality of your aquatic pets, strengthen the immune system, and promote a stable biological environment.
(Note: Humic substances can lead to a biologically valuable and completely harmless amber-colored water tint.)
• Premium quality: Our Buddhanuss are completely untreated and specially gently dried. They are absolutely free of harmful substances and thus completely safe for sensitive invertebrates.

💡 Important application note (Soaking):

Since it is a pure natural product, the Buddhanuss should be soaked for at least 2-3 days in a suitable container before being placed in the aquarium. Please change the water daily with fresh water. Thorough soaking prevents it from floating in the tank and gently leaches out the initial concentrated tannins.
