SP PimpMySkim 350 (Shrimp Protection Set)
Surface cleaning without danger – shrimp-safe protection & controlled flow!
Get the most out of your surface skimmer: The Oase Skim 350 is a compact and extremely popular skimmer for crystal-clear aquarium surfaces. However, in aquascapes and nano tanks with invertebrates, it poses a great danger without modification. Curious dwarf shrimp love to graze on the biofilm sucked in at the inlet, slip, and end up defenseless in the pump sump. The SP PimpMySkim 350 Set elegantly remedies this weakness and simultaneously enhances your skimmer with clever flow control.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Effective Shrimp Protection Ring: The set includes a specially designed intake ring that simply replaces the original transparent float module. The extra fine slots reliably prevent your dwarf shrimp from being sucked in, while the surface film is still highly efficiently removed.
- Rotatable and Controllable Outflow Diffuser: The second component of the set is simply placed onto the skimmer's water outlet from below. With this diffuser, you can freely and precisely regulate the outflow direction of the filtered water. You decide where the flow is directed to avoid dead zones in the aquarium.
- Simplest Assembly (Plug & Play): No gluing, no tools, and no crafting required. Both components are precisely adapted to the dimensions of the Oase Skim 350 – simply replace or attach them, and you're done!
- Easy to Clean & Absolutely Safe: Made from a robust, durable, and water-neutral special plastic. For maintenance, simply remove the parts briefly, rinse them under running water, and reattach them.
🌱 The perfect symbiosis of function and safety:
Many aquarists completely forgo a surface skimmer out of fear for their animals or only operate it for a few minutes under supervision. With the PimpMySkim 350 upgrade, the filter can finally run continuously. Your water surface remains permanently free of oil films and dust, while your shrimp can roam safely and worry-free in the aquarium.
