🛠 Important preparation tip:
Dried lotus flowers have very strong buoyancy and sink very slowly on their own underwater. To successfully place them in your aquarium, we recommend the following procedure:
- Place the flower in a bucket of water for approx. 24 hours and weigh it down with a stone so that it remains completely submerged.
- After soaking, the flower will have taken on a soft, spongy consistency.
- Now carefully take the flower in your hand and gently squeeze it underwater until all air bubbles have escaped from the pores.
After that, the lotus flower will stay securely on the bottom and is ready for your aquascape!
