Add a real piece of untouched nature to your aquarium: The SP-Frog Pod is a beautiful, completely natural hiding place for your aquarium inhabitants. Originally native to the Brazilian and Caribbean regions, where it grows on majestic trees, each pod stands out with its naturally beautiful color and uniquely irregular shape. It blends harmoniously into any aquascape and adds rustic, natural accents.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Natural hiding place: The characteristic opening provides the perfect cave and a safe retreat, optimally suited to the needs of shrimp and dwarf crayfish.
• Long-term humic substance source: The pod releases valuable humic substances into the water over a very long period. These promote the vitality of your animals, support molting, and strengthen the immune system.
(Note: Humic substances can lead to a biologically valuable and completely harmless amber-colored tinting of the water.)
• Premium quality: Our frog pods are completely untreated and have been specially dried with care to guarantee maximum purity and safety for your sensitive invertebrates.

💡 Important application note (Soaking):

As it is a pure natural product, the pod should be pre-soaked in a suitable container for at least 2-3 days before use in the aquarium. Please change the water daily during this time. This prevents it from floating in the tank and washes out initial excess tannins. Ideally, wedge a suitable stone into the opening of the pod during the soaking process: The pod may expand in the water and otherwise close completely.
