GARNELEN4YOU® Baby Powder is a finely micronized dust food specially tailored to the metabolism of baby shrimp. Thanks to the optimized particle size, the food reaches every corner of the aquarium and can be easily taken in by even the smallest young animals. Plant and animal proteins, algae, herbs, and natural minerals provide everything baby shrimp need for growth, healthy molting, and maximum survival rates. Includes a dosing spoon made of sustainable bioplastic. A product by biologist and shrimp breeder Dr. Philipp T. Baumann.
Why Baby Powder is essential for young animals:
- Micronized for baby shrimp: The particle size is tailored to the tiny mouthparts of young animals – no more starving despite food being available.
- Complete nutrient supply: Omega-3 fatty acids, astaxanthin, chitin, and β-glucan in one product – everything needed for growth, molting, color development, and the immune system.
- For Caridina & Neocaridina: Specially developed for excellent acceptance in both shrimp genera, incl. bee shrimp, tiger shrimp, and all Neocaridina color varieties.
- No water pollution: Low sugar and carbohydrate content prevents cloudiness and protects water quality – critical for sensitive young animals.
- Grain-free & fishmeal-free: Exclusively natural ingredients, no chemical additives.
Feeding recommendation:
1–2× per week approx. 0.05–0.1 g (corresponds to ½–1 dosing spoon) per 30–100 l of aquarium water, depending on the number of young animals. Better to feed in small quantities – overdosing stresses the water. Feed in combination with the sticks for a varied diet.
