GARNELEN4YOU® Neo Algae Sticks were specially developed for Neocaridina shrimp and are based on research findings on the effect of spirulina on the reproduction rate of Neocaridina davidi (Kohal et al., 2017). The combination of nettle, spirulina, sea algae (kelp), and chlorella provides the nutrients proven to promote breeding and reproduction rates – grain-free, fishmeal-free, 100% natural. Important note for breeders:
Yellow Neocaridina shrimp (e.g., Yellow Fire, Banana) may temporarily take on a slightly greenish tint when fed Neo Algae Sticks very frequently – caused by the spirulina content. This is harmless and reversible. For optimal results, follow the recommended rotation frequency: Neo Algae Sticks every third feeding, alternating with Carny & Planty Sticks.
Feeding recommendation:
2–3 times per week approx. 1 cm stick per 20 (large) shrimp. Only feed as much as is consumed within a few hours. Recommendation: Neo Algae Sticks every third feeding, alternating with Carny & Planty Sticks.
