Maximum vitality for your aquarium inhabitants: SÖCHTING OXYDATOREN® produce normal and activated oxygen using a patented process with OXYDATOR-solution® ($H_2O_2$) and special catalysts. This significantly contributes to the well-being of the fish and invertebrates in your aquarium. The activated oxygen breaks down toxins and, with sufficient dosage, effectively prevents putrefaction and annoying water turbidity.

The Oxydator Mini is extremely flexible: with one catalyst, it is perfect for tanks up to 30 liters, while with two catalysts, it easily secures aquariums up to 60 liters.

Important notes on operating time:

The operating time essentially depends on the water temperature. At an average temperature of 25°C and using one catalyst, it is approx. four weeks. When using two catalysts, the duration is shortened to approx. two weeks. Higher temperatures accelerate the process, while cooler temperatures extend the operating time.

Good to know: Due to the precise drip dosage, no oxygen bubbles may be visible in the water at times, even though the device is working reliably. As soon as the glass container is completely empty, the OXYDATOR® simply needs to be refilled. Only with the original solution can we guarantee the flawless operation of your SÖCHTING OXYDATOR®.

💡 Breeder's Tip on CO2 content (initial use):

In long-running aquariums, the initial use of the Oxydator can significantly increase the CO2 content in the water. This is because the activated oxygen causes the oxidation of carbon in organic residues (such as food, plant parts, feces, etc.) to CO2. Therefore, when adding additional CO2, please pay close attention to whether the CO2 content in the aquarium has increased and, if necessary, temporarily reduce your CO2 system.
