Every aquarist fears them: planarians. Once these pesky flatworms have spread in the tank, shrimp offspring and snails are particularly at risk. The SP Planarian Trap Mini in a compact cube design is the perfect, purely biological tool to quickly and effectively contain a planarian infestation – without the use of dangerous chemicals or medications that could endanger the biological balance of your aquarium.

💡 How to use it:
- Place an attractive bait inside the trap. (Our expert tip: We have had the best experiences with protein-rich baits such as frozen food, a small piece of raw fish or meat).
- Close the trap and place it on the aquarium substrate with the catching holes facing downwards.
- Wait overnight – planarians are nocturnal and are magically attracted by the smell of food. They find their way in, but due to the special design, they cannot get out.
- The next morning, simply remove the trap, empty it, rinse thoroughly under running water, and, if necessary, refill with fresh bait.
