ShrimpPuddle Moss Pad Semicircular (with Suction Cup Holder)
Moss cultivation made easy – flexible placement in the aquarium, hanging or standing!
A dense, green moss carpet is a focal point in any aquarium and absolutely essential for the successful keeping and breeding of dwarf shrimp. But tying it with thin thread or gluing it to hardscape often ends in frustration: the thread slips, or too much glue is used, covering the moss completely and causing it to die. The innovative ShrimpPuddle Moss Pad Semicircular puts an end to this effort and makes moss care easier than ever before!
Your advantages at a glance:
- Ingenious click system: The principle is incredibly simple: open the lid, place the moss evenly into the pad tray, close the lid, and you're done! You don't need scissors, thread, or harmful adhesives. The tool is ready to use in no time, extremely easy to clean, and can be refilled at any time.
- New with suction cup holder for maximum flexibility: Whether it's a closed aquarium with a lid or an open pool tank – the new suction cup variant is suitable for all types of aquariums. You have the free choice: use the moss pad horizontally on the pane with the durable suction cup like a protective plant umbrella, or place it traditionally standing on the substrate. Changing the mounting method is possible at any time without tools.
- Reversible lid for all moss types: Absolutely ingenious! Depending on which way you place the lid on the tray, the pad offers 1 mm of space on one side for fine mosses (such as Fissidens fontanus) or a generous 2 mm of space on the other side for coarser moss structures, freshwater seaweed, and small ferns.
- Structured surface for valuable biofilm: Made from a specially matted material, the semicircular pad discreetly blends into the aquarium landscape. The slightly rough surface texture provides an ideal habitat for beneficial microorganisms – creating a rich grazing area where your shrimp can forage for hours.
