SP PimpMyHangOn 35 (Shrimp Guard)
Filter safety for your invertebrates – absolutely baby shrimp safe in an instant!
Making an already excellent hang-on-back filter even better and safer? That was exactly our goal! The Seachem/Sicce Tidal™ 35 is an extremely popular and powerful hang-on filter. However, in shrimp breeding or aquascaping with invertebrates, this power carries a great risk: The standard intake guard is much too coarse, meaning curious dwarf shrimp or tiny offspring are inevitably sucked into the pump. With the innovative PimpMyHangOn 35, you can solve this problem in an instant.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Baby shrimp safe thanks to highly effective fine structure: The protective grille features an extremely fine, precise surface structure. This is so tightly meshed that even newly hatched mini shrimp of most species are reliably protected from being sucked in.
- Ingeniously simple installation (Plug & Play): No annoying screwing, no gluing or fiddling with unsightly nylon stockings. The protective attachment simply slides directly onto the existing, original pump head guard of the filter – fits perfectly, sits securely, and is immediately ready for use.
- Effortless cleaning: If plant debris or fine suspended particles have accumulated on the grille over time, the guard can be easily removed, rinsed briefly under running water, and reattached in an instant.
- 100% aquarium safe: Made from a robust, durable, and absolutely water-neutral special plastic that releases no harmful substances into the aquarium water – perfect for sensitive high-grade shrimp.
🌱 Safe breeding conditions in the aquascape:
With this accessory, you don't have to artificially throttle the flow rate of your Tidal™ 35. The filter maintains its excellent mechanical cleaning power and surface movement, while your dwarf shrimp can graze the intake zone for delicious biofilm without any worries. An absolute must-have for every shrimp keeper who relies on this first-class hang-on-back filter!
