Shrimp Dinner 2:

Complete feed for ornamental shrimp - Shrimp Baby Food is a protein-rich rearing food for ornamental shrimp with zooplankton, natural vitamins, minerals, and a high omega-3 fatty acid content, ensuring that young shrimp develop splendidly and have sufficient strength and energy for the numerous molts in the first few weeks. Shrimp Baby Food is a gently processed and 100% conglomerated powder food. With 100 ppm astaxanthin for vibrant colors.

ShrimpFit:

ShrimpFit from GlasGarten is a supplementary feed for ornamental shrimp, a special food and immune booster for the rapid activation of the immune system. ShrimpFit improves the shrimp's defenses and provides them with nutritionally important substances such as beta-glucans, mannan-oligosaccharides, minerals, and chitin.

Shrimp possess only a primitive immune system. This innate immunity lacks the adaptability to develop immunological memory, making the organism susceptible to reinfection with the same pathogens. Therefore, if an infection with a particular pathogen is overcome, it can attack again; the shrimp's immune system will not recognize it, and the battle begins anew.

The most common bacterial infections in aquarium shrimp are caused by non-pathogenic bacteria; that is, they are not disease-causing bacteria, but normal bacteria that live in every aquarium and every living creature. Unfortunately, these too can quickly become a problem, namely when the immune system is weakened and/or doesn't react quickly. A sluggish "sentinel" or a lethargic "fighting force" can be decisive.
So, for example, if you introduce new shrimp/snails/fish into an aquarium that already contains shrimp, you often don't transfer "diseases," but simply normal strains of bacteria that may be unknown to the shrimp already living in the aquarium. These new bacteria can quickly colonize the shrimp, multiply rapidly, and, if the immune system isn't strong and fast enough, unfortunately often lead to death.
In short, without an immune system, a shrimp is just a piece of meat ready to be broken down by bacteria. Only the immune system prevents this, which is why it's so important to strengthen the shrimp's immune system so it can defend itself optimally and keep the shrimp healthy. Its sole purpose is to be faster and stronger than enemies can spread. ShrimpFit supports it in this task; its ingredients act as immune boosters in various ways.

Betaglucan
Beta-1,3-1,6-glucans are structures that are recognized by the immune system as quasi-pathogens. Without actually being pathogens, they trigger immune activation but do not cause any disease symptoms. In other words, they prepare the immune system.
Beta-glucans are recognized by phagocytic cells (macrophages) via special receptors and immediately absorbed. This activates the phagocytic cells to produce further immune cells, which then effectively protect the body from new pathogens in the blood and lymphatic system and can reduce the reaction time for the immune response.
The beta-glucans in the yeast hydrolysate used, which act as soluble fiber, are fermented by the gut flora into short-chain fatty acids such as acetate, butyrate, and propionate. Short-chain fatty acids are important regulators for a healthy metabolism; butyrate is the most important energy source for intestinal mucosal cells and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Mannan-oligosaccharides
Mannan-oligosaccharides promote the growth of probiotic bacteria in animals and a positive composition of the intestinal flora through their prebiotic effect.

Minerals and chitin
The minerals and chitin contained in this product support the formation of the exoskeleton and counteract molting problems. Each molt is a major undertaking for the shrimp's organism, and especially during this time, when all its energy is focused on molting, the shrimp is weakened and easily vulnerable. Unnecessarily long molting phases put the shrimp under additional stress, which weakens their immune system; therefore, it is so important that molting proceeds smoothly and quickly.

First aid
For first aid (immediate relief), potentially more serious damage can be prevented, as the immune systems of both unaffected and already infected shrimp are activated more quickly and effectively. At the same time, GlasGarten ShrimpFit binds toxins and removes them from the intestines.

Preventive and regular feeding
Used preventively and fed regularly, ShrimpFit forms a protective film in the intestinal mucosa and increases the alertness of the immune system so that, when a strong immune defense is needed, the invaders can be fought off more quickly and effectively.

We recommend not feeding any other food for a few hours before and after feeding GlasGarten ShrimpFit in order to optimally utilize the effect of beta-glucan.
Overdosing or more frequent feeding is not recommended, as the effects of the ingredients in ShrimpFit last for several days.
