Snail Food Starter Set
The ultimate complete bundle for healthy nutrition & flawless snail shells!
Aquarium snails are much more than just useful scavengers – they have specific demands regarding their daily nutrition. A lack of minerals or an incorrect nutrient supply quickly leads to visible shell damage, holes, or growth problems. Our Snail Food Starter Set offers the perfect all-round care for balanced, species-appropriate feeding and targeted shell development.
This bundle is the ideal choice for all snail lovers and is particularly well-suited for demanding species such as Tylomelania (Sulawesi snails), Brotia species (e.g., paintbrush or pagoda snails), and classic ramshorn snails.
Contents & Functionality of the Set Components:
1. GlasGarten Snail Dinner (27 g)
The complete main food for the daily, balanced diet of all aquarium snails. It contains all essential nutrients, plant components, vitamins, and proteins that snails need for healthy digestion, strong tissue, and vital activity.
2. GlasGarten Mineral Junkie Bites (50 g)
The targeted mineral booster! These tasty bites effectively prevent mineral deficiencies, prevent shell damage, and help repair existing minor shell damage from within. They provide your snails with essential minerals and trace elements.
3. GlasGarten Mineral Mix (8 pieces)
The ingenious long-term mineral supply for aquarium water. The mineral stones continuously release important minerals into the water and substrate. This way, snails absorb minerals not only through food but also directly through their shells and foot.
4. ShrimpPuddle Dwarf Crayfish Tube (6-piece tube)
The perfect addition to your aquarium! The structured surface of the tubes provides an ideal grazing area for biofilm, which snails rasp off for hours. At the same time, this hardscape element serves as a hiding and retreat option in the tank.
Your advantages at a glance:
- All-round carefree package: Combination of main food, mineral snack, water mineralization, and hardscape.
- Strong & Smooth Shells: Effectively prevents shell holes, decay, and brittle tips.
- Perfect for specialized feeders: Ideally tailored to the needs of Tylomelania, Brotia species, ramshorn snails & co.
