The GlasGarten Crispy Caves are edible tubes and caves made from 100% natural ingredients – serving as food, shelter, and biofilm reactor all at once. They consist largely of wood fibers (cellulose), clay, and leaves – exactly the materials found in the natural habitats of shrimp, snails, and crabs. The fiber allows nutrients such as algae and biofilm bacteria to be actively scraped off, mimicking natural feeding behavior.

Why Crispy Caves are so special:

Only add new caves once the previous ones have mostly been eaten.
