sera Fish Catch Cup – 500 ml, with Hanging Hook
The new model with an additional hook: simply hang it on the aquarium glass – and both hands are free!
Every aquarist knows it: during cleaning and maintenance work, you always need a third hand – or at least a place where the wet net, scaping tweezers, or plant trimmings can land without soaking the cabinet below. And sometimes you just need a small container where a few shrimp or fish can park for a short while. That is exactly what the sera Fish Catch Cup is for, now in a new version with an additional hanging hook: It hangs directly on the aquarium glass, offers a clear view of your animals through the crystal-clear plastic, and pours precisely over the central spout – without spilling.
Your benefits at a glance:
- New – with an additional hanging hook: The cup can be hung directly on the aquarium glass using the hook. This keeps it right where you are working and leaves both hands free.
- Safe transfer & short-term storage: Ideal for gently catching, inspecting, and transferring shrimp and fish – the transparent plastic provides a clear view of the animals.
- Precise spout: The central spout ensures clean pouring without drips – for example into a transport bag or the next tank.
- Resting place during maintenance work: A practical place for scissors, tweezers, and nets, as well as a collection container for plant trimmings and waste.
- No drips: Because the cup hangs directly on the aquarium, dripping water ends up in the cup instead of on the cabinet and floor.
- Fits through narrow flaps: The well-thought-out, slim design fits even through narrow flaps in aquarium systems – perfect for specialist shops, breeding racks, and covers.
- Handy 500 ml: Large enough for versatile use, small enough for any tank – also for precisely distributing gravel or sand.
Practical tip:
When gardening, hang the cup directly next to your workspace on the glass: plant trimmings, collected snails, and wet tools can go straight into it instead of dripping over the tank rim. And if a curious shrimp gets in the way while scaping, it can park in the cup for a short while – stress-free for everyone involved.
